These are the guide books we've been reading. Our favorite ones Footprint guides, followed by the Rough Guide, Frommer's and Lonely Planet.The Footprint guides are thoughtful and well-written. They make you want to go places.
Frommer's seem written with old people in mind.
The Lonely Planet books seem to be written for college students, always pointing you in the direction of a hostal and a bar.
